Purpose

Affordable Christian Housing exists to:

a. help key Christian workers find affordable homes in urban areas, primarily in London, where the local church is under resourced and in need of their support and long term commitment;

b. provide help through provision of housing for rental, shared ownership equity loans, low interest loans, referrals to other agencies and advice.

Affordable Christian Housing seeks to reflect Christian principles in all its policies and practice. We consider applications from a broad range of people of all ages, ethnicities, family backgrounds and denominational affiliation. Click for our Basis of Faith.

Affordability for applicants is crucial. Affordable Christian Housing takes on this challenge with sympathy and generosity, setting rent levels and loan repayments to reflect this ethos.

Affordable Christian Housing is a member of the National Housing Federation and maintains high professional standards. Affordable Christian Housing has charitable status through its registration as an Industrial and Provident Society.
